To help identify and develop ways to improve the community’s health, the Healthy Lucas County coalition is asking everyone who lives or works in Lucas County to complete a brief . The survey includes questions about the COVID-19 pandemic, racism, other discrimination, health care, economic opportunity, safety and other aspects of the community. The survey also asks respondents to identify their main quality of life concern in Lucas County.
Results of the survey will be used to help develop Healthy Lucas County’s 2024-2027 Lucas County Community Health Improvement Plan. To develop the plan, Healthy Lucas County and its partners will assess Lucas County’s health needs, determine available resources, address gaps, and establish community health improvement priorities and action steps to benefit everyone. Additionally, the 2024-2027 Lucas County Community Health Improvement Plan will outline ways to address disparities in the community and incorporate measurements to determine whether progress is being made.
Healthy Lucas County expects to release the 2024-2027 Lucas County Community Health Improvement Plan in November 2024.
